The John C. Berray Foundation was set up in memory of an amazing educator whose passion for his students and the education community was unwavering.
The Foundation will award scholarships to Grossmont Union High School District students each year who demonstrate a passion for learning, think outside the box, and inspire others, much as Mr. Berray did throughout his career.
A Passion for Learning
Through a partnership with the San Diego Foundation, scholarships will be awarded in the spring/summer of each academic year. To learn more about the application process, or to submit your application please click below. Applications are due by February 28th of each academic year.
Continuing the Foundation
The Foundation is depending on donors like you to allow for continued awards to students in the Grossmont Union High School District for secondary education and beyond. Please consider a tax deductible donation in any amount through the San Diego Foundation via the link below.
